Do We Know Enough About Taking Care Of Ourselves?

We should all take good care of ourselves…
I know that you see these posts a lot lately! There is a tremendous amount of content on the web about physical and emotional health, vitality and longevity.
We promise that if you read this article to the end, and apply it to your life, you will definitely benefit from it. Our mission today is to help you stay beautiful, healthy and happy. We want you to express your greatest potential.
No matter what day it is on the calendar, life often gets busy, and we could use a little reminder to stop, breathe and do something beneficial for our soul, mind and personality.  Holidays and festivities are a perfect occasion to do just that.
Everybody in our team were looking forward to International Women’s Day. For women, it’s the only holiday that celebrates their achievements, the sacrifices they make and simply who they are. For men, it’s a good opportunity to remind us of their friendship, appreciation and love.
Doesn’t it feel great to receive a little thank-you note from your son, a flower from a friend, and a warm hug from your partner?
What do you usually expect from your significant other?  A beautiful bouquet of flowers, a dinner invitation or a small box with a special gift in it?
With that being said, we shouldn’t entirely rely on them to make the day pleasant.. I’ll tell you even more: you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to invest some time in yourself.
Here are some life examples you will fall in love with:
1. A transformational outfit
Putting on a gorgeous dress is not just a way to look great for someone else. Feeling confident and comfortable, receiving compliments from your friends and family will lift your mood and energy in the long run.
Sure you noticed that you feel more proud when you are wearing an outfit that highlights your best features? Or how you lose your poise when you are underdressed for an occasion?
The outfit you wear, the colours and style, the feelings and memories it evokes, all play an important role in your mental well-being and can act as a source of energy if you choose it right.
What this means is that there is clearly an established physiological mechanism through which colour and light can affect mood, heart rate, alertness, and impulsivity, to name just a few.
No matter what you choose – a trouser suit, a pencil skirt with a blouse or a cocktail gown – what counts is how it makes you feel. However, if you are a single woman, looking for a partner, you might always want to choose the most feminine garments.

2. Healthy addiction to reading a good book.
When is the last time you got to sit down in a comfortable armchair and read a good book in peace and quiet? Unfortunately, many of us don’t have the time to read for fun, or just do it whenever we have a little time to kill in our busy daily schedules, forgetting how wonderful it is to fully immerse yourself in a book.
Reading every day improves your concentration and memory, reduces stress and stimulates your mind. Let’s start today :)
Anything will become a habit if you commit to working on it for at least 21 days.

3. Priming ourselves with exercises.
Exercising doesn’t not only help us stay in shape, but also it‘s a great prime for the whole day. If you start in the morning, you will give your mood and energy a powerful boost. As a huge bonus, exercising every day will reduce stress and anxiety, and put you in a great state of mind.  Exercise doesn’t have to be limited to our abs and legs. Get to the park or gym, have a bike ride or just take a fast walk in the fresh air.
Starting small — maybe take a 15-minute, distraction-free walk in the middle of your day. You might find your world changes!
For women, it is also important to remember about pelvic muscles. With time, they become weaker and can cause you severe health problems like incontinence, reduced sensation and even backache. Statistics say that roughly 25% of all US women are suffering from some kind of pelvic floor disorder and the older you get, the more likely you are to encounter this problem.
The good news is that you can both prevent and cure it! Of course, the earlier you start, the better. Kegels is a great option, and if you want to take it to the next level, do them with yoni eggs to keep your pelvic muscles in shape.
Jade eggs are a great tool to train your “yoni” (i.e. female organs in Sanskrit) – they are basically like adding weights to your workout at the gym, but instead of your biceps, you are strengthening the muscles that are responsible for keeping your womb in place and your bladder healthy, as well as for your and your partner’s intimate relationship. With regular exercises, you will feel better, stronger and healthier, and your significant other will thank you for it, too!
You can order the pelvic eggs on our website and if you have any questions, contact us for a free 20-minute online consultation with a health professional!
4. Having an in-home spa session
There’s nothing more relaxing than pampering yourself and knowing that you will look even more beautiful and radiant afterwards.
Start by making a  brown sugar scrub to gently exfoliate your skin and prepare it for the treatment. It’s as easy as mixing a tablespoon of brown sugar with a few drops of coconut or olive oil and adding a drop of your favourite essential oil.
After you washed off the scrub, prepare a nourishing or purifying face mask. If your skin needs nourishing, mash up some avocado and mix it with honey and coconut oil. To get rid of impurities, a clay mask is the best. After you’re done, wash it off and gently pat your skin dry. Finally, use a high-quality moisturizer to seal in the effect.
And, of course, don’t forget to stimulate your facial muscles. It can prevent the signs of ageing and even reduce ones that are already showing.
5. Do we really know what Meditation is about?
Meditation is not only about sitting in lotus position on the floor and listening to a soothing voice to relax. If you one of those who are starting out, and want to do this right, we recommend HEADSPACE. You will find various meditations for kids, students and adults. From Mindfulness eating to Running!

Meditation is a state of mind, the ability to focus on positive thoughts and to have control on emotions. It is the mindset we choose to face life’s challenges with.
